Thanks to Mayor (Ann) Feeney and her staff, the Police Dept., Fire Dept., Merchants Association, DDA, DPW, and all other civic and governmental agencies who participated in making the show a huge success.
Including club member cars, there were over 280 specialty vehicles on display, and it was one of if not the largest show we have ever held. We want to express our appreciation to all the car owners who brought their beautiful vehicles for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike.
As always, a very special thank you to the local residents who graciously allowed us to take over their neighborhood for a few hours. We hope no major inconvenience resulted and do appreciate your patience and understanding. Thanks also to everyone who participated in raffles and drawings. After expenses are deducted, we hope to have a modest profit which will be donated to various local charities as in the past.
Following is a list of winners: Mayor's Trophy to Gilbert & Rosemary Chestney of Chelsea for their 1955 Kaiser Manhattan Police Chief's Trophy to Larry & Liz Gonyer of Manchester for their 1957 Ford Skyliner
Fire Chief's Trophy to Bill Bartlett of Jackson for his 1955 Ford F-100 pickup
Merchants Trophy to Ron Cripe of South Lyon for his 1955 Studebaker Hawk
Cruisers Ladies trophy to Carolyn Enderby of Howell for her 1956 Chevrolet BelAire Hardtop
Cruisers Mens trophy to John Capps of Manchester for his 1937 Chevrolet Deluxe Coupe
Congratulations to all, and a big thanks to all who participated. See you next year.

To the Editor: The Cobblestone Farms Horse Trails (July 12 - 13) was a blast for all of us in the Cobblestone community, boarders and homeowners alike.
We would like to give a special thanks to the trainer at Cobblestone, Cathy Henderson, who was not mentioned in the article. Without her expertise, humor and patience, few of us could have participated in this event. Cathy supports beginners through advanced level riders alike. Her ability to inspire and motivate us in a professional manner enables us all to succeed and achieve our personal riding goals. Cathy is an integral part of the Cobblestone family and was an important part of the horse trials' success.
