Thefts

Someone reported a stolen check on July 26. The individual told deputies that the check was taken from a mailbox in the 10000 block of Island Lake Rd., during May.
The check was subsequently cashed in a different jurisdiction, according to Washtenaw County Sheriff's Deputies.
Larceny
Deputies were called to the 13000 block of Riker Road for a reported larceny on July 29.
The larceny is believed to have occurred during a graduation party on July 12, according to deputies.†
The thieves took several items, including digital cameras, multiple iPod Nano's, a personal computer and other miscellaneous items.
Vandalism
Deputies were called to the 6300 block of Hay Rake Hollow after receiving a call stating that someone caused property damage to a mailbox.
The incident was reported on July 10 and deputies believe it occurred on July 9.
Someone smashed a window at a residence in the 5000 block of Walsh Road, which deputies say is currently vacant.
The incident occurred on either July 12 or 13, according to the deputies' report, which was filed on July 13.
Nothing appeared to have been taken in the incident.
Several mailboxes in the area of North Lake Road and Stone Hedge were reported damaged on July 21.
Deputies say they believe the damage was caused overnight by multiple suspects.
Burglaries
A residence in the 6000 block of Merkel Road was broken into on July 8.
The robbery occurred during the daytime, according to sheriff's deputies.
The only item listed in the report as being stolen in the burglary was nondescript computer equipment.
Someone broke into a resident in the 9000 block of Dexter Townhall Road on July 24.
Deputies were called to investigate the break in, which they concluded occurred overnight.
The thieves took two non-descript laptop computers, according to deputies.
Driving while intoxicated
During a routine traffic stop on July 22 at about 5:30 p.m. a deputy arrested a 35-year-old man for suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
The traffic stop was made along Dexter Pinckney Road.
The man also had an expired license.
The case has been forwarded to the prosecutor for review, according to deputies.
