Alyssa Lauren Stouffer
South Lyon
Alyssa Lauren Stouffer of South Lyon, age 18 months, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at home.
She was born Jan. 12, 2007 in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Brian and Laura (Borden) Stouffer.
This precious, happy, smiling baby is survived by her parents, her special three year old brother, Conor, her grandparents, Michael and Kathy Borden of Chelsea, and Russell and Mary Stouffer of Whitmore Lake; great-grandparents, Gladys (John Kennedy) Buck of Whitmore Lake, Sam and Carol Borden of Athens, Ala., Patricia Eldridge of Nashville, Tenn. and Viola Schembri of Riverview.Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss her playful nature.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Carroll Buck, Frank Schembri, and Russell and Harriette Stouffer Sr.
Funeral services were held on Monday, July 21, 2008 from the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home in Chelsea. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Babe (Florence) Samborn

Babe (Florence) Samborn died on July 21, 2008 at the Chelsea Retirement Center with her family at her side. She was 101.
She was the daughter of George and Catherine (Russ) Ackerman and was born on April 19, 1907. On Feb 6, 1935 she married Wilson Samborn. He preceded her in death in October 1993. She lived in Clare until 1998 at which time she moved to Chelsea to be closer to family. She is survived by her daughters Gail (Jim) Finch and Sallie Martin (Karen Dale), 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at the Clare United Methodist Church on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 11 a.m.Visitation was held on July 23 at the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home and at the Clare United Methodist Church from 10 - 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2008.
Contributions may be made to the Chelsea Retirement Community Heritage Fund or the Clare United Methodist Church.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Chelsea Retirement Center Chapel on Aug. 10 2008 at 2 p.m.
