The event is Friday through Sunday and begins with a flea market that runs from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 18.
"The flea market is great. We've got so much stuff that it's spilling out the door," said Liz Neil of St. Joseph Community Church.
The fun continues with a cafÈ for grades 9-12. For a cost of only $5, the cafÈ includes pizza, pop, games, door prizes, inflatable games, karaoke, a DJ and more.
On Saturday and Sunday you can enjoy an appearance by Colors the Clown, playing games, a craft show and a raffle with a first-place prize of $5,000. There will be a big tent for dancing that will feature different music acts like an Elvis tribute performer and the band Men in Black. There are also storytelling and sing-along programs for children in the big tent.
Neil said there will be different types of food available with an American cafÈ, a Polish and Italian cafÈ and a Mexican cafÈ. On Sunday, Kentucky Fried Chicken will be the featured food.
For those interested in participating in a race, walk or mile run there are three events to choose from and the registration cost is $20.
"Some of the festival's proceeds will be donated to local charities that the festival committee selects and the remaining balance will go to the new church that was just built," said Neil.
General admission is free and costs for other activities vary. Contact St. Joseph Community Church for more information at (734) 426-8483.
