In the July 10 edition of the Dexter Leader, the cutline for the story on the Dexter Senior Center should have been: Acrylic painting instructor Paula Christie works with Joyce Rowe. Maggie Ulrich is in the background. Also, the exercise class featured at the DSC meets at 10:30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and is taught by Liz Polk.
A July 3 edition titled "Village police reductions" should have said Dexter Village is considering going from 8 to 7 deputies or Police Service Units (3 each from Dexter Township and the Village and 2 from Webster). Also, the village is still paying for half of the PSW at Dexter Community Schools.
A July 10 edition story titled "Village officials meeting financial obligations" had Assistant Village Manager Courtney Nicholls' name spelled incorrectly.

The Huron River Watershed Council (HRWC) needs people to join teams that will measure and map a stream site this summer. You can learn the techniques in a hands-on workshop from 2 to 5 p.m. July 27.
Learn to "read a river" by characterizing the bed, the banks and other indicators of stream health.
Teams will map a site on a later date. Sites to be studied include Boyden Creek below Loch Alpine at Huron River Drive and the Huron River at Zeeb Road.
