The Dexter-area regional indie rock band Most Wanted will return to the Blind Pig, 208 S. First St. in Ann Arbor, for a concert Friday.
During the past 10 years Most Wanted has released two CDs on independent label Megawave Records and one with Stone Alley Records, and has enjoyed moderate success in national radio play and iTunes sales.
The Blind Pig concert will feature many past releases as well as new material from their forthcoming release "Sisters of Eve," due out in August.
Singer-songwriter Mark Hiser says that the new material and the addition of Phil Weiss on bass have generated a lot of excitement in anticipation of the new CD.
The Friday night show will be a solid night of indie rock in Ann Arbor, Hiser said, and will feature two bands they've met on the concert club circuit and invited to join the event - The Midnight Thud and Sorry 24.
