Pumas defeat Crimson Crew

Dexter Little League softball had a full slate of games last week. Here are some of the results —

May 6 —

Bistro Renaissance Pumas 17, Brust Orthodontics Crimson Crew 12

Jordan McGinnis made three outs at the pitcher's mound. Brianne Lloyd was strong at third base, recording three outs.

Sarah Zofchak and Jordan Maisch had hits in the first inning.

Laura Kapanowski made a terrific play with an out as the catcher.

Kendall Rosevelt defended the outfield with an out in the second inning. Ashley Erickson made the final out.

May 7 —

Econo Print Magic 15, Milan No. 2 4

Leading the Magic from the circle were Hannah Wing, Alyssa Krolewski, Rachel Mount and Katie Stilber.

Playing catcher for the Magic were Allison Stilber and Joieann Graves.

Leading the Magic defensively were Emily Grossman, Amanda Fileccia, Grace Wilson, Caroline Skiver and Delaney Garcia.

Offensively, Mount had two hits, including a double.

Katie Stilber and Wings each doubled, while Fileccia and Graves each singled for the Magic.

May 8 —

Dexter Family Dentistry Panthers 25, Lincoln No. 25

Courtney Stewart struck out 10 Lincoln batters to earn the win for the Panthers.

Teia McGahee led the offense with three home runs. Andi Kimball and Taylor Passamani also hit home runs. Contributing to the Panthers' 22 hits were Sabrina Lomax and Alyssa Baker with three singles each.

May 9 —

Econo Print Magic 11 vs. Green Thumb Landscaping Dynamite 9

Sara Muchmore, Hannah Wing and Rachel Mount combined for the win from the rubber for the Magic.

Katie Stilber and Mount both saw time behind the plate.

Katie Stilber and Joieann Graves each had two hits to pace the offense. Grace Wilson added a single for the Magic.

May 10 —

Dexter Family Dentistry Panthers 27, Lincoln No. 17

Taylor Passamani continued her hitting streak with two singles, a double, and a triple. Courtney Stewart hit a single and two doubles, while Teia McGahee had a home run, a single and a double.

Allysa Baker, Tara Stetler and Andi Kimball each contributed at least a single to the effort.

Teia McGahee and Alyssa Baker split the pitching duties holding the Lincoln batters to four hits. Baker, Passamani, Stetler and Madison Moss all made defensive outs in the field.

May 10 -

North Point Seafood & Steakhouse Spartans 16 Manchester Maroon 6

Anna Love, Ally Humpert, Madison Svihra and Joy Hook gave up six runs in four innings pitched in the victory. Diane Milne, Anna Love and Maggie Kaercher each had two hits, and Joy Hook and Emily Humpert also connected for a hit.

May 12 -

North Point Seafood & Steakhouse Spartans 15 Lincoln 5 Brianna Goff, Brigid Aslin, Isabella Shehab, Maggie Kaercher and Ally Humpert pitched a strong game in limiting Lincoln to five runs.

Anna Love hit a double,and Emily Humpert and Brigid Aslin also had a basehit.
