The Dreadnaughts swam out to a 5-0 first quarter lead as Kelsey Johnson scored two goals and Paige Sheats, Jessie Boren and Nicole Minzey each scored one each for Dexter.

In the second quarter, Erin Donevan and Johnson each notched a goal apiece for the Dreadnaughts giving Dexter a 7-2 advantage.

In the third quarter, Felicity Burke and Natalie Fluent scored for a 9-2 Dreadnaught lead.

Taylor Bartscht, Meaghan Mead, Minzey and Sheats each scored in the fourth quarter, while Northern scored once for the night's final margin.

Earning the win in net for Dexter was goalie Emily Wetzel with 12 saves.

Also last week, the Dreadnaughts defeated London (Ontario), Canada 4-3.

Boren scored Dexter's lone goal in the first quarter tying the game at 1-1.

London scored the second quarter's only goal taking a 2-1 lead over the Dreads heading into the third frame.

In the third quarter, Johnson scored two unanswered goals for a 3-2 Dexter advantage.

In the fourth quarter, London tied the game at 3-3 before Boren scored the game-winner with six seconds left.

Bartscht recorded the win in net for the Dreadnaughts making six saves.

"It was a hard fought game against a physical Canadian club team where our counter attacks played a major factor in the game," said Dexter coach Brian Semple. "Our girls came out with a lot of intensity and did a really good job hitting the high corners with their shots."
