In net for the Dreadnaughts Taylor Bartscht finished with 12 saves and three steals.
"Jessie Boren really came through for us both offensively and defensively," said Dexter coach Rebecca Godek. "Goalie Taylor Bartscht had a great game coming up with some huge saves for us."
Godek said Okemos is always a tough opponent.
"They are strong, fast and have great shooters," she said. "We had a great first half defensively running a drop, attempting to shut down their hole set where a lot of their goals came from in our previous game against them."
Godek said her team will continue to improve.
"One thing we will be working on for our future games is getting our swimming speed and endurance up so we can take advantage of our counter attack," she said.
