Jason Parmeter

Pinckney

Jason Parmeter of Pinckney, born April 28, 1984, passed away March 14, 2008.

He was the beloved son of Dawn (Marshall) Sova and Andy Parmeter, brother of Kelsey Sova and loving grandson of Shirley Marshall. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Danny Marshall.

Friends are asked to share their memories at a ěCelebration of Lifeî being held for Jason on April 28, 2008 from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. at The Vandercook Lake Lions Club House, located at 4628 Francis St., Vandercook Lake. (Vandercook Lake is located just south of Jackson.)

Dorothy M. Koch

Chelsea

Dorothy M. Koch of Chelsea passed away Saturday, April 19, 2008 in Waterford, Mich. She was 86.

She was born on Oct. 29, 1921 in Sylvan Township, the daughter of Gottlieb and Katherine C. (Zahn) Heller.† Dorothy lived in the area all her life and †was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, doing crafts, sewing, fishing with a cane poll, cooking and baking. ††On September 29, 1951 she married Lawrence O. Koch and he preceded her in death on Dec. 16, 1982.† Surviving are one son, Dale L. (Lynn O.) Koch of Rochester Hills and three nephews, Robert (Else) Heller, Earl (Kay) Heller and Loren (Luann) Heller all of Chelsea.† She was also preceded in death by two brothers Carl J. Heller and Leroy Heller.†

Funeral services were April 22 from the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea with Pastor John R. Morris officiating.† Burial followed at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.† Expressions of Sympathy can be made to Zion Lutheran Church.†

Thomas Lee Headrick

Jackson

Thomas Lee Headrick of Jackson died unexpectedly, Thursday, April 17, 2008 in Owosso, Mich. He was 43.

He was born Jan. 2, 1965 in Ann Arbor, the son of Sally (Wheeler) & Don Proctor & Robert F. Headrick. Tom graduated from Chelsea High School in 1983. He attended Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Jackson. Tom worked for McEwen Trucking Company in Corunna. He received his associates degree from Northwood University.

He is survived by his parents, Don and Sally Proctor of Fairfield Glade, Tenn.; his sisters, Erin Headrick of Denver, Kelly Smith of Detroit, Lisa (Jim) Townsend of Grass Lake, Kristi (John) Eidt of Chelsea; his brothers, Dale (Linda) Headrick of Portland, Todd Headrick of Carbondale, Ill., Eric (Kris) Headrick of Livonia; step-sisters, Lori Butler of Chelsea, Janis Weston of Chelsea, Barb LeBel of Fla., step-brothers, Dave (Julie) Proctor of Harrison, Mich., Rick (Lara) Proctor of Ill.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step-sister, Julie Proctor, his father, Robert Headrick, and his grandparents, Robert and Jeanette Wheeler. He will be sadly missed by his best friend Russell (Sharon) Harris.

Funeral services were held April 22 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Chelsea, with Rev. Dr. William J. Turner officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Faith in Action of Chelsea or the American Heart Association.
