The Dreadnaughts ended up with a team tally of 331.

Winning the 19-team tournament was defending Division 1 state champion Saline.

"We're a little disappointed with our performance at Adrian," said Dexter coach Frank McAuliffe. "We can play better than that."

Leading Dexter was junior Brent Muse with an 80.

Senior Jimi Williams added an 82, while senior Hunter Lyons had an 84 and junior Jordan Marken an 85 for the Dreadnaughts.

Last Friday, Dexter placed second at the Pinckney Invitational at Rush Lake Golf Course.

The Dreadnaughts recorded a team score of 319.

Capturing the invite title was Novi Catholic Central.

Senior Don Knight, who shot a 75, led Dexter individually.

Marken and Muse each finished with an 81, while Lyons had an 82 for the Dreadnaughts.

On April 9, Dexter defeated visiting Temperance Bedford 163-173 in a dual match at the Ann Arbor Country Club.

Marken led the Dreads with a 33.

Muse ended up with a 38, while Knight had a 40 and Lyons a 42.

Dexter next travels to Tecumseh for an invitational Saturday at 9 a.m.

On Monday, the Dreadnaughts visit Ann Arbor Huron for a match at 3 p.m.

On April 24, Dexter will participate in a quad at Adrian at 3 p.m.
