Champion travels to Plymouth

Champion Gymnastics participated in the Eurostars meet in Plymouth March 11.

Champion Gymnastics Level 5 team continued their fabulous season competing at the Eurostars meet in Plymouth on March 11th.
Eliza Judge, 11, finished second on beam scoring 9.150, ninth on floor with an 8.750, 10th on vault with an 8.75, 10th on bars with a 9.0, and ninth all around scoring high marks of 35.65.
Caylin Livingston, 9, placed 11th on vault with an 8.6, beam 8.85, floor 8.750, bars 8.35, with 10th-place all around scoring 34.55. Emma Powers, 9, placed second on floor scoring a 9.1, third on beam with a 9.150, fourth on vault with a 9.0, sixth on bars with an 8.9, and third all around scoring a personal best 36.15.
Katie Tewksbury, 8, scored high on beam taking seventh with an 8.9, 13th on vault with an 8.6, floor 8.6, bars 7.75, with an all around score of 33.85. Jaime Uren, 10, placed sixth on beam with an 8.925, sixth on vault with an 8.95, eighth on floor with an 8.850, ninth on bars with a 9.15, and eighth all around with an 35.875.
The team is coached by Kristy Reske.
Also competing at their first Level 5 state qualifier meet March 3 were Darion Mayrand, 9, scoring high on vault with a 9.075, bars 8.525, floor 8.525, beam 8.45 and all around with a score of 34.575 and Bailey Mayrand, 11, with an 8.15 on beam, bars 8.1, floor 7.525, vault 7.4, and an all around score of 31.175. Both sisters qualified for the Level 5 state meet in April.
The gymnasts were coached by Rachael Bergren.
