The Dreadnaughts jumped out to a 3-0 first quarter lead. A key to Dexter's win was its aggressive defense.
Earning the win in net for the Dreadnaughts was goaltender John Brosch, who stopped 16 shots.
Leading Dexter's offense was Nick Ceccolini with four goals.
Tony Ceccolini added two goals, while Alex Erber had one assist for the Dreads.
"I am very proud of our kids," said Dexter coach Jim Kotsones. "The majority of them had never played lacrosse before. We have only been practicing for two weeks. They look like veterans out there especially against kids that have been playing since they were 8-years-old.
"While we still have a few things to work on, it is very encouraging that they have picked up the sport so quickly."
Dexter next travels to Ann Arbor Huron for a contest Thursday at 6 p.m.
