Dexter competes at Northwest

The Dexter Wrestling Club traveled to Jackson Northwest for a freestyle tournament last Saturday.

Six local grapplers placed first individually for Dexter.

Earning tournament titles for Dexter were Conner Peterson, Nathan Skinner, Will Feldcamp, Jacob Grob, Chad Moorman and Brennan Kurth.

Finishing second overall for the local club were Aiden Kurth, Zeke Breuninger and Teddy Grammatico.

Placing third for Dexter was Ben Peterson.

Zach Peterson, Ryan Aridi and Joey Ernst finished fourth for the local club.

On March 17, Dexter competed in a freestyle tournament at Brooklyn Columbia Central.

Eight local wrestlers earned first-place finishes for Dexter.

Recording tournament titles for the local club were Bryce Brophy, Conner Peterson, Tyler Even, Vince Krause, Nathan Skinner, Feldkamp, Moorman and Breuninger.

Placing second for Dexter were Trent Barnes, Brad Papin, Derek Wittenberg, Drew Barnes, Zack Skinner, Joey Ernst and Grob.

Jason Milkey, Travis DeBerry, Robbie Ernst, Zack Peterson, Aiden Kurth, Ben Peterson and Mike Appel finished third for the local squad.

Also performing well for Dexter at the meet were Alex Doletzky, Nyckolas Udell, Vincent Palenik, Blake Wingler, Jorge Martinez, Brennan Kurth, Amy Moorman, Chad Hill and Aridi.
