Dancers take home ribbons

The Dexter Academy of Dance and Music recently traveled to Troy to participate in the Hollywood Connection competitive dance event.

Numerous academy dancers earned ribbons for Dexter.
Dexter's Pantea Sokansanj received a first-place gold ribbon for her jazz number.
Parmeda Sokansanj also earned a first-place gold ribbon for her jazz performance, while Breanna Pierce took home a first-place gold ribbon for her lyrical number.
Dexter's Libby Guise received a first-place gold ribbon for her jazz dance, while Sofia Sokansanj was presented a second-place silver ribbon for her jazz performance and Olivia Marks a second-place silver ribbon for her jazz number.
Erin McCargar earned a second-place silver ribbon for her lyrical performance, while Grace Ferguson took home a second-place silver ribbon for her jazz performance.
Instructing the Dexter dancers was Lila Turner.
Dexter next travels to Farmington for a dance competition March 31 through April 1.
