The Hartland Hurricanes capitalized on the fact that DCAC fielded no swimmers in the 15- through 18-year-old age group and racked up 143 uncontested points on the way to a 492.5-428.5 victory last week in Hartland.

The 8-years-old and younger boys' squad of Alex Janosi, Andy Dolen, Kevin Kimmel and Casey Dolen swam to a first-place finish in the 100 medley relay in 1:26.14, while Thomas Stanton, Thomas Griffith, Brady Rosen and Owen Boquette touched in second far ahead of the Hurricane contingent.

Janosi captured first in the 25 freestyle in a season best 16.09, while Casey Dolen took fourth in 19.43, Stanton sixth in 21.64, Boquette eighth in 25.47, followed by Rosen and Griffith.

Andy Dolen led the way in the 100 freestyle by touching in first with a time of 1:19.73, while Kimmel placed fourth in 1:26.90. Casey Dolen and Stanton finished sixth and seventh, respectively recording personal best times.

Andy Dolen, Janosi, Kimmel and Stanton took first in the 100 freestyle relay.
