The following students were on the Dean's List during the past term at Madonna University.

Kali Burnette, Amanda Galarowic, Anna Lussier and Kaitlyn Williams, all of Chelsea. Christina Derry, Jennifer Heldt and Sarah Lovely, all of Dexter.

Kirk Kumbier, son of Timothy and Mary Kumbier of Ann Arbor, has been named to the Merit List at Kenyon College for the first semester of the 2007-08 academic year. To be eligible for Merit List recognition, a student must earn a grade-point average of at least 3.45. Kumbier is a graduate of Dexter High School.

Josh Branham, a freshman at Michigan State University achieved a 4.0 GPA in the fall 2007 semester and was on the Dean's List. He is the son of Jeff and Sheila Branham of Chelsea.

Anthony Kimmen and Lisa Smith, both of Chelsea, graduated from Central Michigan University in Dec. 2007. They both received a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree.

Stacy Jones of Dexter is a member of the Order of Omega at Ashland University.† She is the daughter of Michael and Marsha Jones and is majoring in early childhood education. The Order of Omega recognizes students who have attained high standards of leadership in inter-Greek activities and within their chapters.† The organization holds monthly meetings, publishes "TOGA," the all-Greek philanthropic newsletter, and sponsors the ROSE award to outstanding individuals of Greek chapters for academic excellence. Members must be juniors or seniors of a fraternity or sorority and have at least a 3.0 grade point average.†
