Dreads drop match to Saline

Dexter volleyball lost to host Saline 15-25, 11-25, 12-25 in a Southeastern Conference match-up last Thursday.

The Dreadnaughts played the contest without senior middle blocker Camille Hanks (6-foot). Hanks is arguably Dexter's top hitter.
The Dreadnaughts finished the match against the Hornets with 11 team kills.
Courtney Krips, Katie Ryan and Colleen Lasecki each ended up with three kills to lead Dexter's attack. Lasecki also had a team-high 16 digs.
Heather Bradshaw recorded nine digs for the Dreadnaughts.
Sonya Lewis had five digs, three assists and one ace, while Cheyenne Kitchen had two digs and one ace for Dexter.
The Dreadnaughts' match against host Ann Arbor Huron Feb. 13 was canceled because of inclement weather. It's still undetermined if the match will be rescheduled.
Dexter next travels to Ypsilanti Lincoln to participate in the SEC tournament Thursday at 3 p.m.
On March 3, the Dreadnaughts travel to Adrian to participatein state district competition.
