Creekside Intermediate School is holding its increasingly popular Trivia Night at 7 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Dexter-Chelsea Road.
Entry†costs $10 per person. Funds will be used for technology enhancements at Creekside.
Prospective participants must assemble a group of 8-10 people who want to show off their knowledge of seemingly useless facts.

Veterans for Peace
Veterans For Peace will hold its monthly meetings at 5:30 p.m. the fourth Thursday of the month from now through May in the McKune Room at the Chelsea library.
As part of its educational mission, the group will show a film that is open to the public at 6:10 p.m.
The film scheduled for Feb. 28 is "Axis of Evil," a feature-length documentary that interviews 16 journalists, artists, scholars and activists.
"Axis of Evil" explores the concept of evil and how it has been used to justify political and military actions.
Earth Day essay contest
Recycle Ann Arbor, a national leader in recycling and waste programs, announces its second annual essay contest in celebration of Earth Day (April 22), sponsored by Heritage Newspapers. The contest is open to students in 5th and 6th grades, ages 10-12, who reside and attend school in Washtenaw County.
The first-prize winner of the essay contest will receive a $500 U.S. savings bond, and the winning essay will be posted on Recycle Ann Arbor's Web site. The first-prize winner's school classroom will also receive a free recycling workshop. Five honorable mention awards will also be given. Each honorable mention winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to a local book store.
Essays should be from 500-750 words in length, and must be received by March 24, 2008. The winner will be announced on April 8. Complete contest information and the contest entry form are available at: www.recycleannarbor.org.
