A spaghetti dinner and silent auction will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Chelsea High School Commons, 740 N. Freer Rd. A minimum $10 donation, $25 for a family of four is appreciated. All proceeds will support the Chelsea High School softball program.
Tuesday
Faith in Action will have a career advisor available every Tuesday from 12:30 to 4 p.m. at 603 S. Main St. in Chelsea, to help with resume writing, job searching, career research and talent evaluation.
This service is open to anyone who could use help with employment issues. A Michigan Works! computer with up-to-date listings and many other job search aids is available as part of the service. For more information, call 475-3305.

St. Mary Men's Club will hold a fish dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. every Friday during lent at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10601 Dexter-Pinckney Rd., in Pinckney. The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from noon to 6 p.m. at Thomson-Shore, 7300 W. Joy Rd., in Dexter. To schedule an appointment, call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE or visit . Walk-ins are welcome. Donors must be at least 17 years old and 110 lbs. in good health. There will be free juice and cookies for all donors.
A Valentine's Day celebration will begin at 7 p.m. with dinner at St. Andrew United Church of Christ, 7610 Ann Arbor St., in Dexter. Following dinner there will be a ceremony in the sanctuary for couples who wish to renew their wedding vows. "Chordiology," a local barbershop quartet, will finish the evening. Feb. 10
Local rock band Final Domain will perform in the show "EXPOSURE" at Clutch Cargo's (65 East Huron St.) in Pontiac. The tickets are $13 if purchased from a band member or $15-$20 at the door. The doors open at 11 a.m. Final Domain, made up of DHS students, will be performing new material at the show.

Primitive Fire Making: 2 - 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9. Educator and naturalist Shawn Grose will give a presentation on the history of fire making followed by an outdoor demonstration of the bow drill method.
