"We had to cancel our two dual meets last week (Milan and Tecumseh) due to illness," said Chelsea coach Dave Jolly. "I have never had a team so sick in all my years of coaching. We averaged six to seven guys in the water for practice all week. My biggest concern was getting other teams sick. We elected to try and reschedule verses get other teams sick, especially with Tecumseh being a ranked team."

In the Dexter meet, Chelsea's 200 medley relay A team placed sixth overall. John Skidmore, Pete Kinsey, Viren Rana and Evan Phillips stopped the clock with a time of 1:57.99.
