"Everyone has come into it ready to work hard and win," he said. "Ben Neubauer, Zeke Duke, Jake Gillis and Donny Kennedy, my captains, have really stepped it up the past few games. With their leadership and the team's heart, I don't see us having any problem winning most of our games the rest of the regular season."
McCormick said it's at this point in the season that his team would begin preparing for the postseason which starts in February.
"We need to keep up our work ethic and our grit so we can be successful when that time comes," he said. "As long as we do that, there is no reason we won't be successful come playoff time."
